During this tour you will see our celestial mountains and two the most famous lake in Kyrgyzstan. You will sleeps in yurts as nomads do for many centuries. It is a great possibility to familiarize with the Kyrgyz nomadic way of lifestyle. During this excellent trip you will see the 2nd biggest mountain lake in the world -  Issyk Kul that is surrounded by mountains. After that you will visit well-known Son Kul Lake that is situated on the altitude of 3016 meters above sea level. 


Tour summary: 

Day 1: Bishkek city
You will be picked up in Manas International Airport and accompanied to Bishkek. It takes 30 minutes to get from the Airport to Bishkek city. You will start the day in Bishkek with a nice breakfast. This day will be entirely dedicated to a guided Bishkek city tour, including lunch. With your guide you will visit the Central Ala-Too Square, Old Square, Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Pobeda Square (Victory Square), the Museum of the Kyrgyz History, National Concert Hall and the monument of Manas (the Kyrgyz legendary hero) that is located nearby, Oriental Osh Bazaar, Art Gallery and many other places and monuments. You will spend the night in the hotel****. Dinner will be served at 7 o'clock in the evening.
 
Day 2: Bishkek - Chon Kemin Valley
At 8 o'clock the day starts with a breakfast. After breakfast you will be transferred (120km) to the Valley of Chon Kemin by vehicle. En route, we will stop top visit Burana Tower, which is the minaret of 11 century, and the open air Balbans (stone warriors) museum. After having a lunch you will have a short outing in the gorge of Issyk-Ata that is famous for its thermal mineral springs. At 7 p.m. we will arrive in the Kalmak Ashuu Guesthouse, and after having checked in, your dinner will be served.

Day 3: Chong Kemin - Son Kul Lake 
Breakfast. Drive from Chon Kemin Valley to the second largest lake in Kyrgyzstan Son Kul Lake via the Boom Gorge and Kochkor Valley. On the way lunch will be taken. Son Kul Lake is situated at an altitude of 3006 meters above sea level on the treeless plateau that is surrounded by mountains. Son Kul is the highest alpine lake in Kyrgyzstan. Naryn region herders come to the lake to use it as grassland. The Kyrgyz nomads started to come to this wonderful area with their families for spending here summer months from the olden times. You will be free to investigate and enjoy the virgin nature of the lake and its surroundings after our arrival. Dinner and overnight will be in the nomadic collapsible habitations that are called yurts. The yurt is a wooden frame, which is covered with felt thin covering mats. They are manufactured without nails.
 
Day 4: Son Kul Lake
At 9 am is your breakfast. Free time at Son Kul Lake, where you will have the opportunity to explore its nature on your own. You can ride along the lake on a horse, or just relaxing in the atmosphere of the wild, but calm nature. Lunch will be served at 2 pm. Then you will see also ancient petrogliphs and ritual stones of shamans. It is a great chance to get acquainted with nomadic traditions and culture. National dinner will be served in original nomadic houses - yurts. You will spend the night in yurts as nomads do.
 
Day 5: Son Kul Lake - At Bashi
We leave the yurt camp at 8 o'clock after a strengthening breakfast. Transfer (200km) to the At Bashi Valley. The spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and the stunning nature will accompany us during our trip. Dinner will be served at 7 o'clock in the evening. This night you will spend the night in yurts.

Day 6: At Bashi - Tash Rabat Caravanserai (Stone castle)
You will be served breakfast at 8 o'clock after packing your luggage. Then you will be transferred to the Tash Rabat (Stone Castle from the 14th century) - Caravanserai on the Great Silk Way. Tash Rabat is located at the very heart of Tian - Shan Mountains, at a height 3200 m. above sea level. The building is an exceptional one and it has no analogue in the whole world. It was made of layered rock and what's more it was built inside a mountain. Totally, there are 31 rooms in the mountain, where are also underground prisons for medieval culprits. The thickness of walls is about 1 meter. At 7 p.m. traditional dinner will be served. You will spend the night near by the Tash Rabat caravanserai in yurts.
 
Day 7: Tash Rabat - Kochkor valley
After a strengthening breakfast you will be transferred to Kochkor village (185 km). At the Kochkorka village you will meet a family that shows you the way of how national woolen felt carpets are produced. You even can create your own carpet. You will have a traditional dinner with a local family, accompanied by a special national music show. Overnight in the Kochkor Guesthouse.
 
Day 8: Kochkor valley - Tamga village
At 8 o'clock you will be served with your breakfast. After breakfast you will be transferred (200 km) to the celestial Issyk - Kul Lake that the second largest alpine lake in the world, which is situated at the altitude of 1608m.above sea level. The Lake is also known as "The Treasure of Central Asia". We will drive through the stunning valley and you will pass near the Orto Tokoi Reservoir with its turquoise waters. Upon arrival in Tamga village you will take a break on the lake's southern beach  where you can go in swimming in the lake or just lie on the warm sand. Owing to the fact that the water in the lake is salty, Issyk - Kul possesses healing qualities. At 7 p.m. in Tamga Guesthouse your dinner will be served. There, you will also spend the night.
 
Day 9: Tamga - Karakol
8 o'clock breakfast. Till 12 p.m. you have time for leisure or to swim in the lake. After that, you will be transfered (50km) to Karakol town by car. Your lunch will be in Karakol. After lunch you will have an excursion in Karakol. This sightseeing tour includes the visit of the Dungan mosque. One of its highlights is the fact that it is built in Chinese style without using a single metal nail. This will be followed by the visit of an old wooden Orthodox Cathedral. Later, you will visit the museum of Prjevalsky - the world's greatest explorer. Prjevalsky greatest achievements were: the crossing of the desert of Taklamakan and the discovery of more than 4000 species of animals, including the horse of Prejevalsky that was named after the explorer. Night is in the guesthouse. National dinner will be served at 8 p.m.
 
Day 10: Karakol - Altyn Arashan - Karakol
After having strengthening breakfast you will be transferred to the Gorge of Altyn Arashan by the heavy Russian military 4WD vehicle. Altyn Arashan ("Golden Spa") Gorge is one of the most renowned canyons near Karakol due to the Tian - Shan fur trees, juniper, diverse kinds of herbs and flowers that grow there. You will take lunch in the gorge of incredible beauty after taking a bath in the thermal waters (there are some special little cabins). After lunch you will have one hour hike in the gorge and after that you will be transferred to Karakol. At 7 p.m. dinner will be served. Overnight is in the guesthouse.
 
Day 11: Karakol - Cholpon Ata
Breakfast is served at 8 o'clock. After the breakfast you will be transferred to Cholpon Ata city along the along the northern shore of the sparkling pearl of Central Asia - Issyk-Kul Lake(120km). On the way, we will make a short break at 1 pm, where you can enjoy lunch in a relaxed atmosphere . Afterwards we will give you the opportunity to visit ancient stone inscriptions (dating back to 800 B.C.), including the local museum. The museum is dedicated to the Issyk-Kul Lake, which's beauty you will be able to enjoy to the full during another break, where you go on a one hour cruise on a steam boat. Your dinner will be served at 7 pm in a Hotel, where you will also spend the night.
 
Day 12: Cholpon Ata - Bishkek
You will have breakfast at 8 o'clock. Free time on the beach till 11 o'clock. After that you will be transferred to Bishkek city (280km) by car through a stunning Boom Gorge. At 7 pm a farewell dinner is served. Night in a Hotel****.
 
Day 13: Bishkek - Europe
At the time arranged previously according to your flight details your guide will meet you in the hotel to accompany you to the International Airport of Manas.
