Places to visit: Bishkek - Burana Tower - Cholpon Ata - Issyk-Kul Lake - Karakol - Tamga 

Our travel company offers you to visit the most celebrated places of interest in Kyrgyzstan. You will visit Burana Minaret that was built at the end of the 11th century; also you will see Issik Kul Lake - the treasure of Kyrgyz republic. Issyk - Kul is the second largest mountain lake in the world after the Lake Titicaca in South America. Beside that we are going to show you 8 century B.C petroglyphs. And some other sightseeing!

 

Meeting in the airport, transfer (270km.) from the Airport to the hotel in Cholpon Ata. We will visit the Burana Tower - minaret from the 11th century and Balbals cemetery. Balbals are stone structures that were put by the Turkic people in the honor of the outstanding warriors. Cholpon Ata (1600 m. a. s. l.) is the resort town and cultural - historical center on the northern shore of the 2nd biggest mountain Lake in the world - Issyk Kul. 

  

After breakfast transfer to Karakol city. On the way visiting ancient stone inscriptions (dating back to 800 B.C.), including the local museum. Also as an option you can have an hour on a steam boat to enjoy the beauty of the lake. Overnight in a guesthouse.

 

This morning will be entirely devoted to a guided City Tour in Karakol. This tour includes the visit of the Prejvalsky museum, one of the world's greatest explorers.  This will be followed by the visit of an old wooden Orthodox Church. Later, you will visit the Dungan mosque. One of its highlights is the fact that it is built in Chinese style without using a single metal nail. Lunch. After that we will start our way (30km) to Jeti Oguz - remarkable gorge of seven red rocks. There you will see also the Broken Heart Mountain, which you will be told marvelous fable about. Transfer to Tamga Village.

 

We will drive along the southern show of Issyk-Kul Lake to Bishkek city after breakfast. Upon arrival in Bishkek you will have a sightseeing tour. You will visit many places of interest, such as the central Ala-Too Square, the History Museum, Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Art Gallery, Pobeda Square (Victory Square), National Concert Hall, Oriental Bazaar. Lunch.
