Kyrgyzstan tour 7

We would like to offer this tour for people who have transit from Chinese - Kyrgyz border - Torugart Pass and then to Bishkek City (the Kyrgyz capital). While traveling you will see the renowned caravanserai of Tash - Rabat that was built inside a mountain and you will also have time to relax in the calm environment of Son - Kul Lake. During your tour main part you will have a possibility to live in the beautiful places that are completely remote from the busy civilization.

You will be picked up by your guide at Torugart pass and after passing all custom formalities then you will start your trip to Tash Rabat. Tash - Rabat is caravanserai (Stone Castle from the 14th century) on the Great Silk Way. Tash - Rabat is located at the very heart of Tian - Shan Mountains. This construction is an exceptional one and it has no analogue in the world, for the reason that it was made of stones and what's more it was built inside a mountain at a height 3200 m. a. s. l. Overall there are 31 rooms with the central domed chamber in the mountain. The walls thickness is 1 m. There are also underground prisons for medieval culprits. Near Tash Rabat caravanserai, in yurts you will spend the night. Yurt is made of a wooden skeleton, covered with thin felt mats. Yurts are built without nails. At 7 p.m. traditional dinner will be served.

 

Breakfast. Transfer from Tash rabat Caravanserai to the 2nd largest lake in Kyrgyzstan Son Kul. On the way lunch will be taken. Son Kul Lake is the highest alpine lake in Kyrgyzstan; it is situated at an altitude of 3013 meters above sea level. Son Kul is surrounded by the mountains. The Kyrgyz herders of the Naryn region come to the lake to use it as a pastureland for their cattle. You will be free to enjoy and explore the lake's virgin nature and its environs after our arrival. Dinner. Overnight is in the nomadic collapsible dwellings - yurts. Yurts are built without nails. It is made of a wooden skeleton, covered with felt coverings.

 

Breakfast is at 9 o'clock in the morning. After breakfast you will have a free time to discover the local nature on your own. Optionally, you can ride along the lake on a horse, or just have a rest in the atmosphere of the wild, but calm nature of this beautiful lake. It is a great chance to get acquainted with nomadic traditions and culture.  At 2 p.m. lunch will be served. After that you will have an excursion to the ancient petroglyphs that appeared in the 8 c. B.C. Traditional dinner will be served in the yurt camp. You will spend this night as nomads do, in yurts.

 

Today you can have a short hiking along the lake or to walk around your yurts camp. During a day you will feel complete freedom from all your problems. Son Kul Lake is situated at the place that is completely out of the civilization! There is no traffic, TV set, radio, crowds of people... it is a perfect chance to feel as if you are one thousands years ago among nomads... 

After breakfast you will have drive to Bishkek city - the capital of celestial Kyrgyzstan. Along the whole way you will see unforgatable views of our mountains. You will see famous Boom gorge and its mountain river that flows along the gorge. As soon as you are in the capital you will go to your hotel and then we will have a farewell dinner. 

 

This day offers you an excursion to Natural Park Ala-Archa. Ala - Archa National Park is situated in the gorge with the same name, on the Kyrgyz range (a spur of Tien-Shian). This Gorge is situated 45 km. from Bishkek - capital of Kyrgyzstan on the altitude of 2100 m. a. s. l. and it is one of the most striking gorges in Kyrgyzstan. There are juniper and fur tree forests, mountain river of Ala - Archa, waterfall and snow white peaks that could be observed from a far distance. You will have a track of about 5-6 hours to Ak-Sai waterfall. From the path you will see one of the highest peaks of the Kyrgyz range - Ala-Archa that is 4000 m. high. We will have a lunch near the Ak - Sai waterfall. After that we descend down to Ala-Archa Gorge. Transfer to Bishkek. You will spend the night in the hotel***.

 

You will be collected by your guide from the hotel at the pick up time arranged previously according to the details of your flight and accompanied to the Airport of Manas.
