There are two main languages in Kyrgyzstan: Kyrgyz and Russian. Kyrgyz came from Turkic languages Runic Script and first alphabet of Orhon-Yenisey script. Arabic alphabet was adapted then due to Islam. And when the Soviet Union got a leading position in a modern Kyrgyzstan, Cyrillic alphabet after Latin (1927) was adapted.

The state language in Kyrgyzstan is Kyrgyz, divided into two main dialects, that represent northern, the and Issyk Kul valleys, and the capital dialect alongside with southern for the people of Kyrgyz and Fergana valley. The big community in Kyrgyzstan of Uzbeks bear great influence on the Fergana valley, the southern regions of the country. Russian language is the language of intercultural communication, business and commerce.  For our guests we offer vocabulary notes to feel rather comfortable in the sphere of the other language.
