For the duration of the tour you will be riding a horse along one of the parts of the Great Silk Road that passed through the territory of Kyrgyz Republic. This tour uncovers for you the chance to get acquaint with Kyrgyz traditions; try the national drink Kumis (mare's milk that is fermented) and original national dishes. The following proverb is particularly common for the Kyrgyz people "Horses are men's wings". It was almost impossible to survive without a horse in the mountainous country of Tien - Shan. Since ancient times, horses played an essential role in the life of the nomads.


Tour summary: 

Day 1: Bishkek - Tamga
Meeting is in Manas International Airport. You guide will accompany you to Bishkek City (the capital of Kyrgyz Republic). The drive from the Airport takes 30 minutes. On your arrival in Bishkek, you will have a breakfast. Transfer (380 km) is from Biskek City to Tamga Village by car. We will drive along the southern shore of the celestial Issyk-Kul Lake, which is second largest mountain lake in the world (1608m.above sea level). The Lake is also known as "The Pearl of Central Asia". In the Tamga Guesthouse dinner will be served. You will also spend the night there.

Day 2: Tamga - pass Karatakia - gorge Kitchi Kyzyl Suu
You will have a horseback riding tour after breakfast to the Karatakia gorge and then over the Karatakia pass. After enjoying the views of the surrounding nature, you will have a strengthening lunch. Afterwards you will have 6 hours horseback riding down to the Kitshi Kyzyl Suu Valley. This is a place where you can test Kyrgyz national drink - Kumis (fermented mare's milk). Overnight is in tent camp. Dinner is served at 7 p.m.

Day 3: Kitchi Kyzyl Suu - gorge Jukutchak
This day will be started with horse riding to the Pass Kashka - Tor (3937m. above sea level). Afterwards you will come across the red cave that is called "500 rams" and ride a horse through the stunning red canyon. On the way, you will see also a mountain waterfall, near which you will have your lunch. The waterfall is situated not far from hot springs (40 degrees Celsius) that are also possible to visit if you wish. After having a rest we continue our horse riding to the Valley of Jukutchak. Night in tents. Dinner is served at 8 p.m.

Day 4: Gorge Jukutshak - gorge Ashu-Kashka Suu
Your breakfast will be served at 8 o'clock. Afterwards there is an ascent on horses to the pass Ashu-Tor (3636m above sea level), on the way you will see a mountain waterfall and also you can take a bath in the sauna with thiocyanogen water. After taking lunch you will keep on your horse riding down in the gorge of Ashu-Kashka Suu (6h). Your dinner will be served at 8 p.m. Night in tents.

Day 5: Ashu-Kashka Suu Gorge - Kashka-Suu Lake
Breakfast is at 8 o'clock in the morning. Pack your luggage. On the horses you will have a rise to the Pass of Kashka-Suu (3891meters a. s. l.). We will have our lunch there. Afterwards, you will ride your horse to the Lake of Kashka-Suu (3800 meters a. s. l.) for 6 hours. The water is so pure and sparkling in this lake, because it is originated from the glacier. Our dinner will be served at 7 o' clock in the evening. This night we will spend in the tent camp.

Day 6: Lake Kashka-Suu - Chokoli Lakes (3006m.)
After 8 o'clock breakfast we will continue horseback riding to the Lakes of Chokoli. There we will probably see Marco Polo sheep and ibexes. Not far from the mountain lake there will be an ascent on the glacier. You will spend the night in tents near the lake. At 7 p.m. our dinner will be served.

Day 7: Chokoli Lakes - Bishkek (by car)                               
After packing your backpacks, you will be served breakfast at 8 o'clock. Then you will be transferred to Bishkek city by car. You will arrive in Bishkek in a Hotel*** at around 5 pm, where you will have time for yourself until your pick up at 7 pm. Then you will have a farewell dinner in a restaurant.

Day 8: Flight home
At the time prearranged according to the details of your flight your guide will meet you in the hotel and accompany you to the Airport of Manas.
