Day 1: Bishkek
The first day of the tour is going to be along Bishkek, the main city of Kyrgyzstan. It is peculiar for being the site with abundance of monuments and interesting places as Pobeda Square (Victory Square), Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Central Ala-Too Square, the National Arts Museum, National Philharmonic which will be visited for sure. Visitants of the land usually have a desire to see the locals, and in this case they are taken to the Asian Bazaar. Right here the locals are seen from the point of view of their own traditions and customs. The atmosphere is noisy, full of life, and being here you can make the photos. But ask for the permission of the people first. Here various goods can be bought. The night will be spent in the hotel.
Day 2: Bishkek - Burana - Chon Kemin
Today the travelers will be the guests of the Chon Kemin gorge, with passing the Burana tower. The latter one is the tower of the 11th century created as the location for the Balbals, or stone warriors, protecting the land, the souls of the people. Then the gorge will be seen, and it is the perfect site for horse-riding, and climbing, as it is located in the very heart of the mountains. The local people will show the way of riding the horses, and you will see the greatness of the beautiful mountains. The hospitable people of these territories will provide the homestay.
Day 3: Chon Kemin - Issyk Kul lake northern shore - Karakol
Welcome to see the pearl of Kyrgyzstan, Issyk Kul lake, the second largest and greatest lake. It is located at the height of 1608 m above sea level, and seems to bear the mysteries. All along the trip the guides will provide all of the legends and myths of the lake the ancient people considered to be sacred even 1500 years ago. Then the tour is going to the Karakol city, where ancient petroglyphs are made. The guesthouse will be provided for the night.
Day 4: Karakol - Jeti Oguz - Issyk Kul southern shore - Kochkor
From Karakol we make a travel to the Jeti Oguz gorge. It is famous for being in the form of the Bulls, being red and standing in a row. Behind it there is the Broken Heart mountain. It can be climbed approximately in 20 minutes. Basically this gorge is visited for the guests to have the opportunity to see the panoramic view, being heart-stirring. Then, you will be at the territory of the south shore of Issyk Kul lake, with visiting of the Bokonbaevo village. Right here it is possible to witness the eagle-hunting show, when the eagles hunt hares and foxes, as the hunting traditions have been always with the nomadic people of the country. The next destination is Kochkor village, where the night is spent in the homestay.
Day 5: Kochkor - Son Kul Lake
Meeting another beautiful morning of the tour in Kochkor village, it is possible to witness the process of the creation of felt-carpets, being the traditional activity of the locals. They can show their skills, and you can be the one to add the wool of various colors. So that the boarders can be the ones to make their own in handicraft. Usually they make the decoration of silver lines, various images of animals. Then the Son Kul Lake is visited. This lake is famous for being the second largest lake located at the height. Its height is 3016m above sea level. The night will be made in the yurt.
Day 6: Son Kul Lake
The entire travel day is devoted to seeing the magnificent territories of Son Kul Lake. It is famous for being at the great altitude, where perfect pastures are located. And these pastures are the ones where the cattle is taken by the nomads. Visiting the lake, it is possible to communicate with the local people, and they will surely tell myths and legends, inform about traditions and customs. They will host you to their homes - yurts, try all offered there, and you will show your respect to them. The night will be in the yurts.
Day 7: Son Kul - Suusamir - Bishkek
Your Kyrgyzstan tour is almost made and our team has a desire to show the way back to Bishkek. This way is very picturesque, made along the great altitudes, about 3000m above sea level. All the trip back will be made along the Tue Ashuu pass. The mountains are impressive, magnificent. Various stops will be made so that the boarders will be able to make the photos of nature, and of themselves with the picturesque background. The night will be spent in the hotel of the capital.
Day 8: Bishkek - Ala Archa - Bishkek
Travel with our company to the Ala Archa gorge, as it is a national park of amazing nature, fresh air and abundance of greenery. The history shows that in the times of the Soviet Union it was prohibited for visiting for the ordinary people. Only highly-honored people could enter its territory. It is located in 45 km from Bishkek, and then coming back to the capital the night will be spent in the hotel.
