This tour is for people who want to discover the land of nomads. The country of the sacred alpine lakes and the Holy Mountains of Tien - Shan. Kyrgyzstan is a perfect place for trekking over incredible mountains and through unforgettable gorges. There is the second largest mountainous lake in the world Issyk-Kul on the way. You will experience the nomadic style of life far away from the hectic of busy and stuffy cities. You will simply LOVE the way this tour has been organized. You will absolutely not find such a magnificent and beautiful place anywhere else!


Day 1: Bishkek - Chon Kemin valley
Transfer from Manas International Airport to Bishkek City. Half an hour drive. Your first day in Bishkek starts with breakfast after the accommodation at the hotel. The second part the day you will spend for Bishkek City Tour, including lunch. Your guided City tour includes the visiting of the central Ala-Too Square, Oak Park, Victory Square, the Historical Museum, National Philharmonic, Oriental Bazaar, Art Gallery and many others places of interest of the capital. Then we will go to the Chon Kemin valley and stop in the Kalmak-Ashuu Guesthouse, where you also will spend the night. Dinner is at 7 pm. On the way, we will stop by at the Burana Tower (minaret of the 11 century that refers to the times of the Karakhanid dynasty supremacy) and its attached open air museum of Balbans (stone warriors).

Day 2: Chon Kemin valley - Tamga
7 o'clock breakfast is served and you will start your trip to Tamga (380 km., 6h.) by car. We will go alongside the picturesque southern shore of the Issyk-Kul Lake(1608m.above sea level), also known as "the pearl of Central Asia. This is the second largest mountain lake in the world. Dinner is served in the Tamga Guesthouse, where you will spend the night.

Day 3: Tamga - Jukku gorge - pass Jukku
We leave the Guesthouse at 8 o'clock as soon as we finish our delicious breakfast. We will go by car till approach the entrance of the gorge Jukku. Jukka is the place where Kyrgyz nomadic shepherds still live in yurts and you have a wonderful opportunity to try a national drink Kumis (staple Kyrgyz national drink).  From this place we will hike through the gorge until we arrive at the foot of the pass Jukka. Lunch is on the way. Your dinner is served in the open air and overnight stay is in tent camp.

Day 4: Pass Jukku - Ak-Shirak
Breakfast is served at 8 o'clock. Lunch is after the hiking over the pass Jukku. Then the hiking will be continued along the Silk Way routes for at least 7hours inside the Ak Shirak mountain range (average level is 3680m.), which is famous for its mountain Chokoli lakes. There is a stunning view on the best part of these lakes. They find their origin in glaciers. The night is spent in yurts near these lakes, as soon as you have our evening eat.

Days 5-7: Syrty Ak-Shirak (3000m. a. s. l.)
From Ak Shirak, it will a three-days-hike along the southern side of the Terskey Ala-Too Mountains to reach the foot of the Ashu-Tor glacier. During this journey you will also see our gorgeous Ara-Belsu Lake. Ak-Shirak is the place where ancient traders hid from robberies where you feel like you are under the protection good spirits looking after you. All nights are to be spent in traditional nomadic collapsible dwellings - yurts, which are made of felt and wooden frame without a single nail.

Day 8: Gorge Ashu-Tor
Early breakfast. 7 hours Hike over the pass 4000m. Ashu-Tor  where you will overlook the glacier of Ashu-Tor, while having a picnic. Then you will come to the Ara-Belsu Lake before starting the descent to Ashu-Tor gorge by passing through the stunning 3250m. a. s. l. northern part of theAshu-Tor Valley. After your dinner your overnight stay is organized in tents in the wild nature.

Day 9: Gorge Ashu-Tor - Gorge Chon-Kyzyl-Suu
You will be served breakfast at 8 o'clock before you start your 7 hours hike down to the Chon Kyzyl Suu valley and the old geophysics station (2650m). Packing your backpacks. Your dinner is given at 8 p.m. You will spend the night in yurts just like real nomads do. A yurta is a unique collapsible dwelling made of felt and wooden frame without a single nail, erecting and collapsing of which takes only hours, correspondingly. Lunch break is organized on the way.

Day 10: Gorge Chon-Kyzyl-Suu - Bishkek
Breakfast is at 8 o'clock. The morning includes guided walk of 1 Hour down to the balmy water springs of Jeli Suu (Warm Water), where you can take a bath. After having lunch you will be transferred to Bishkek by car along the southern shore of celestial Lake Issyk Kul via the magnificent Boom gorge. This trip distance is 350 km. You will be in Bishkek at a Hotel **** at around 7 p.m., where you will have time for yourself until you are picked up at 8 pm. You will have a wonderful farewell dinner in a restaurant with a national folklore show.

Day 11: Return Journey
Departure.  Flight from the Manas International Airport.
