Tajikistan life: Tour 4

Day 1: Dushanbe
On arrival, you will be met at the airport and travel to Dushanbe. Today you will have a guided city tour where you can visit Rudake Park, National library, White House, National state seal, and House of parliament. This tour will be continued walking in National park to make photos of Ministry of Inner Affairs and the biggest National Flag in the world of about 165 m high pole, 30 m wide, 60 m long. Afterwards we will visit the Central Museum and Gurminj Museum of traditional musical instruments. It is recommending to visit Asian bazar and get inspiration of oriental goods. Night is in a hotel.

Day 2: Dushanbe - Iskanderkul Lake
This tour will start by driving high to Mountain lake - Iskanderkul of 2 255 m. a. s. l. It is located in the famous Fann Mountains. This excellent area is one of the best places of Central Asia. The way to the lakes goes over Anzob pass of 3 372 m with astonishing panorama views. Then you will walk along it beaches and hike 40 minutes to see a waterfall. Tajikistan takes the second place among the CIS countries for volume of water resources: it has the highest water reserves of all Central Asian countries with more than 1 000 rivers, 2 000 lakes and 8000 glaciers. Overnight is in a homestay.

Day 3: Iskanderkul Lake
Today you will have hiking tour at Fann Mountains. Fann mountains is a wonderful mountain area so called "Kuhistan". Kuhistan is Farsi word means "Mountainous Country". In Fanns, you can see more than 30 pure and parti-colored lakes of dissimilar size and form. Fann Mountains are a popular tourist destination and weekend for locals. It is also a perfect place for trekking and climbing target. Travelers will be impressed by rich flora and fauna and enjoy great views around. Rest is in a homestay.

Day 4: Iskanderkul Lake - Dushanbe - Hissor
Today we will drive to Dushanbe. You will pass over Anzob pass of 3 372 m and tunnel of Isticlol. The nature will catch you for taking vibrant photos. In the afternoon we will travel to Hisor fortress (VII-XVII centuries). It is just 35 km from Dushanbe. This ancient site has encouraged areas and stronghold. It was the residence of the representative of the Emir of Bukhara. This place is located on high hill with 1 m thick walls and loopholes for guns. Inside the building there is a pool and a garden and crossways from the fortress there was a full market square with a caravan serai and shops. Being in Hisar travelers will admire the lately reinstated monuments of "Madrasa I Kuhna" belonging to the 16th-17th centuries, mosque; the mausoleum of "Mahdumi Azam" of the 16th century. Transfer to a hotel.

Day 5: Flight
