Day 1: Dushanbe
On arrival at the airport you will be accompanied to Dushanbe. Today you will have a guided city tour. We will start to visit the Rudake Park, National library, White House, National state seal, and House of parliament. This day will be continued visiting the National park where we can see the Ministry of Inner Affairs and the biggest National Flag in the world (165 m high pole, 30 m wide, 60 m long). Later on we will visit the Central Museum and Gurminj Museum of traditional musical instruments. Then you will drive to see outstanding Asian bazaar. This market has the most affordable prices and fresh goods. Transfer to a hotel.
Day 2: Dushanbe - Iskanderkul Lake
The tour will begin visiting the high Mountain lake of Iskanderkul (2 255 m. a. s. l.). It is sited in the well-known Fann Mountains. This tremendous area is one of the best places of Central Asia. The highway to the lakes goes over Anzob pass (3 372 m) with remarkable panorama views. Travelers will have an opportunity to walk along warm sandy beaches where you can breathe fresh air. It is an idea to hike for about 40 minutes to see a waterfall. It must be said that Tajikistan takes the second place among the CIS countries for volume of water resources with the highest water reserves of all Central Asian countries with more than 1 000 rivers, 2 000 lakes and 8000 glaciers. Night is in a homestay.
Day 3: Iskanderkul Lake
We are glad to amaze you by the next day of having hiking tour at Fann Mountains. Fann mountains is a marvelous mountain zone known in ancient times as "Kuhistan". Kuhistan is Farsi word and means "Mountainous Country". In Fanns are found more than 30 pure and multi-colored lakes of different extent and form. Fann Mountains are a prevalent tourist destination and weekend spot with locals as well as perfect for trekking and climbing target. This place is famous for rich flora and fauna a well as outstanding views. Rest is in a homestay.
Day 4: Iskanderkul Lake - Dushanbe - Hissor
In the morning we will travel to Dushanbe via Anzob pass of 3 372 m and tunnel of Isticlol. You will pass over a mountain passes where you can take a lot of vibrant photos. In the afternoon you will have a tour to Hisor fortress (VII-XVII centuries). It is 35 km from Dushanbe. This area is famous for encouraged parts and citadel which in past times was the house of the representative of the Emir of Bukhara and situated on a high hill. It has 1 m thick walls and dodges for guns with a pool and a garden and crossways from the fortress there was a busy market square with a caravan serai and shops. Here we can see monuments of "Madrasa I Kuhna" (16th-17th centuries), mosque; the mausoleum of "Mahdumi Azam" (16th century). Overnight is in a hotel.
Day 5: Dushanbe - Norak - Kalai Khum
This day will start by driving to Kalai Khum village where you can see the Norak water reservoir or Tajik Sea. You will pass over Shuraba pass of 2 267 m where Afghanistan border starts. You will be amazed by celestial mountains belonged to the Territory of Pamir Mountains. The Pamirs have enthused the world's greatest explorers as Marco Polo, Hsuan Tsang, Mirza Muhammad Haidar. Then you will drive along natural border as Pyanj River. On the way you will be impressed by white and blue mountains. Night is in a homestay.
Day 6: Kalai Khum - Khoburubot - Dushanbe
Today we will travel to Dushanbe thru mountain road and over high Khoburubot Pass (3 252) known as Western Pamir Tract. The way goes via the most attractive river valley and astonishing gorges in the land, where you can take many photos. On arrival, you will admire small villages and meet local people. Tajiks are famous for hospitality and kindness. They are lovers of exotics and captivated by the beauty of wild nature. Transfer to a hotel for rest.
