Day 1: Ashgabat
Meet your guide at the airport and travel to Ashgabat city. In city you will have a guided tour and visit the parks and squares of the capital, Ertogrul Ghazi mosque, the archeological site "Nisa" (brick remnants of fortifications and palaces, temples, ceremony hall, treasury building. It includes the remains of Parthian civilization, what united the traditional art and culture with Hellenistic and Roman elements. Then visit Russian bazaar. Transfer to a hotel.
Day 2: Ashgabat - Kow Ata - Nokhur - Balkanabat
In the morning we will travel to Kow Ata - Underground Lake. It means "Father of caves". The overall length of the cave is 230 m, its height reaches 20 m, and its width is at some points 57 m. The lowest of the cave is roofed with bumps of liquefied limestone (stalagmites), and its deep and flowing water is clear and bright green colored. The water temperature is about 33-37°C. In the second part of day you will travel to Nokhur. It is 120km - 2.3 hours). This is a small village situated in the mountains of the Kopet Dag Range where can be found houses with local stones paved with mud. The Nohkuri people who inhabit this remote mountain village are quite different to other Turkmen tribes. They live in a trickle of villages in the mountainous border area crossing Turkmenistan and Iran. Nokhur is the largest village with about two thousand people. The tour will be continued to Balkanabat. Night is in a hotel.
Day 3: Balkanabat - Yangykala - Gozli Ata - Turkmenbashy - Awaza
In the morning we will drive to Yangykala which means "fire fortresses". Certainly, the sheer cliffs of white, yellow, ocher, purple and red colors, fancily imprinted by winds and rains. They look like stone castles from fanciful movies. The most gorgeous view of canyons you can see throughout dusk, when all is highlighted in a red-hot color. In the evening you will visit "Gozli Ata" pilgrimage place. In the afternoon is drive to Turkmenbashy where on the way we will see tourist zone Awaza. Rest is in a hotel.
Day 4: Awaza - Ashgabat
In the morning you will have rest on the shore of the Caspian Sea and then drive to Ashgabat. On arrival is the city tour. Transfer to a hotel for rest.
Day 5: Ashgabat - Darwaza
This tour will start by travelling to Gypjak, to see biggest mosque in the central Asia. In addition, we will visit Horse Farm and drive back to Ashgabat and then to Darwaza. The tour will be continued to the village Erbent. On arrival we will get acquainted with Turkmen people and see the town Darwaza. Night is in a tent.
Day 6: Darwaza - Kunya urgench - Shawat border
Today we will visit architectural monuments of Old Urgench, Khorezm capital X-XII centuries. Admire the beauty of the Mausoleum of Najm al Din al Kubra, Tyurabek Khanum, Il Arslan, Tekesh Ibn Hadzhibey, the highest minaret in Central Asia Kutlyg Timur. Afterwards is transfer to Dashoguz and Shawat border. The tour is done.
